At random times while working in various applications, the tab key will stop working. Instead of entering a tab character (in an editor) or tabbing to the next control (in a dialog), the focus is moved to no application. So the app you're working on basically loses focus, but no other app gains focus (or maybe RightClick does??).
It took me a long time to figure out the culprit and for a while only a reboot would restore my tab key again.
Finally I discovered that all I had to do was unload RightClick and the problem is instantly fixed.
However, once the problem has occurred, restarting RightClick brings the problem back again too.
The only way to have the tab key and RightClick again is to reboot.
I am using Windows XP Pro SP2.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
I just upgraded RightClick to the latest version a few minutes ago so I don't know if it's fixed or not, but I don't see it mentioned in the "what's new" list either.
Also, I can go days without seeing the problem at times, and at other times it can occur only a couple hours after starting my PC.
I have a hunch that it has something to do with the hotkey from something I saw once, but it's just a guess.
