Why Was Longhorn 5203 Removed?

Microsoft needs to get thier heads out of their asses. These Long Horn skins been around before the word of an actual os being built, Microsoft should have no say so, in fact they should be the ones to get a lawsuite amongst them, for stealling that phrase from the artist on this site.

Ye gods... Yes, Microsoft gets all their ideas here. They got the idea for the BSoD from me. I think they owe me a gazillion dollars.

Hey longhorn 5203 is just like the Windows Vista theme. maybe that's why they took it off.

I'm afraid so.  MS legal told us they'd be contacting you and deviantART shortly as well.  They got to us first since MS people hang out here quite a bit.

Not that I support them wanting to take down Kol's skin, but could we ask Microsoft to take down all the Vista bootskins, wallpapers, etc.?

That's odd that they should ask for it to be removed. This skin isn't too different from the "Inspirat" theme. Although admittedly this is a lot closer to the skin used by MS, especially with the glow min,max,close buttons.
I don't understand what problem they have with it, using the skin should mean that people are interested in the next version of windows. I do understand that they paid someone to create that look though. Oh well glad I got it when I did.

Well thats pretty crapper for those of you that didnt get it.......sorry but it is wicked! Kol did a wicked job....i tried to find it the other night on the site and i couldnt find it for the life of me.....
crappy part is i still cant get the "Glow" min/max/close buttons i have Windowblinds 4.5...but as far as glows go i got nuthin?? any guesses would be nice!

Well said! If they can't ask for copwrighted material to be removed no one else should be able to either. Consider this the next time someone modifies one your own skins and uploads it. Maybe it should not be removed either.

oh. i forgot about that little info. no wonder LH5203 was not removed(just a speculation. might not be the real reason ).
