Inspirat SE and Styler

I just dropped by deviantArt on my daily routine. I noticed that StefanKa has just released a new version of his Inspirat visual style. For the record, I'm not all that overjoyed over all the Longhorn-based themes out there. (Or the endless mac-based eithter for that sake.) It's all a bit too many in my own opinion, but I'm not going any further on that. I think this Inspirat SE theme by StefanKa looks very good. Minimalistic, stylish and a perfect finishign details. (All though, I have yet to try it, currently downloading.)

But what further interested me was a program that this theme linked to, Styler. http://stylefantasist.com/ (I am a bit resistent to try it as I am not using my own computer at the moment.) It apperas to be a skinning application with several functions. It skins the Windows GUI, custom Explorer toolbar, Wallpaper changer, and shadows for certain aplications. Quite an impressive array of features that, for all I know of isn't much heard of. The website features a small gallery of themes, all Mac-OS based, but they seem to be well made. However, it's originally a japanese website and the english version could do with some of Jafo's grammar checking.

(Not that I claim to be perfect in that area, but when you have a product to present...)

I'll probably play around with these two things over the next days. I though the lot over here would be interested as well.

i went and checked out Styler, i put it on my laptop first *since i don't use that computer as much as my desktop* and it's kinda nice - had to disable some of the regular toolbars for explorer/ie so that it was only the styler one but it's kinda nice, should come w/ some instructions though lol but i dont think it's enough for me to want to trade in window blinds though

Styler is an app to apply .msstyles themes plus skin Explorer's buttons. The most interesting aspect is it's ability to colour themes. It works quite well for what it does. It's also a 30-days (or so) trial version, ergo shareware.

It's been around for a while now.
