i want to create a group.

i want to create a group that makes bootskins, windowblind, logon, winmedia, etc.. skins i want to make people get to know each each other better and also make skins at the same time. so i want people who make at least one of those types of skins to join in. in the group i want the group to have:

2 leaders (one of them is me--bash2cool--)
2 backup leaders (incase the leaders are busy doing something else)
1 person makes one type of skin
1 backup person to make one type of skin (incase that person is busy)
2 voters (the 2 leaders and the backup leaders will tell the skinners what type of skins to make and the voters will vote witch skin to make)

if you want to join please send a comment saying yes and place your email so i can contact you and tell you if you have been accepted to the group or not. also tell me what part of the group you want to be in.

accepting you will depend on the skins you have made in the past and the articles you have made (if any)

please join the group it will be a great experince.

Is this like, um....a paid job? Why would I want to join a group that tells me what types of skins to make. And I have to have made good skins in the past or I might not be accepted to this group that tells me what skins to make for nothing in return?
It seems to me I'm better off making what I want when I want. I meet lots of skinners, they help me, I help them, nobody is bossing me around telling me what I have to do....
Hmmm...I'll have to think this one over. Let me get back to you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Wincustomize that very idea without restrictions on choice or creativity?

you guys are right even though i wanted everybody to get to know each other better, i didn't think about what to give in return or any thing.

unless you want to change the rules and make it more fair i'll say ok but other wise this group is going down.

"going down" as in "happening", or "going down" as in "going down the tubes"?

So much of what this forum is, is people getting to know each other better. No other group is needed for this. I think you have a good idea about a skinning team, but few people will want to have any more "bosses" in their lives (I don't mean you, Boss019).

If someone wishes to formulate a group of like-minded individuals to make a skinning 'group' then well and good.

Anyone who remembers the 'Community Skins' projects cannot see this as anything other than a positive.

'Community Skin' will always be seen as a highlight of skinning's history...
