At any one time about 300,000 Aussies are in England..... that's about 1 in every 60 of our population.  You probably can't get much closer 'ties' than that....

I have relatives in England. I called them and they said that they were all fine....however that very morning they were going to go into London but had to cancel. Anyway Cousin Burke said that as usual the British would all just .......carry on. Amazing....carry on.

Sad day for the whole world. I find it tragic that innocent people are hurt to make political statements. Actions like these have no solid excusses. Terrorism is unorthodox way to fight, yet the only way possible for the ones that have not the means to fight in open battle ground. It's plain insanity at final analysis. My deepest sympathies to all citizens who've suffered.
