Disciples

Will not start

My computer:
P4, 3ghz, 1g ram, Geforce 6800 video, SB audiology

I get the opening window but when select GR or ROTE nothing happens. I have deleted and reinstalled the game and SC but no success.

Any ideas?

If you're running WindowBlinds, add the various Disciples II exe's to your exclusion list. For some reason WindowBlinds prevents this game from working properly.

Thanks, that fixed it. What irony.

You might consider posting an installation note on this. I would have never figured a Stardock game would be incompatible with WB

This is really weird. I couldn't purchase the Stardock version of Disciples II since I am on dial-up and that file is more than one gigabite large. So when I saw a marked down copy of the game in the local shop, I bought it.

.... guess what! I never had any problems with the game and WB running together......

I have no idea what Stardock does to the game that it won't work with their own products
