A Ghost Captured on Film?

car ad pulled due to ghostly presence

Some of you may recall the article I posted a while back about a web movie claiming to prove the existence of ghosts.

Well, when the following email arrived yesterday, I just had to check it out:

Hi, Gene Nash,

Frank Bauer here... you have to check this out.
Make sure your sound is turned up a bit... it's kinda hard to
hear!

Strange but interesting. This is a car advertisement from Great
Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor
noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a
ghostly white mist.

They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in
that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the
unexplained ghostly phenomenon.

Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the
middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in
front of the car then following it along the road.

Spooky!

Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen
to the ad, you'll even hear the commentator talk about it near
the end of the commercial.

A little creepy but pretty cool!

Hehehe...My kids showed me this a couple of weeks ago....so I've seen it before.

My Uncle had a heart attack and died because of that. I am disgusted you would post it for people to see, IT SHOULD BE BANNED!

I too was startled and shocked by the footage. My heart pounded, my chest ached.

Yet, I felt compelled to share.

It's vitally important to pass this on. It's like The Ring. Once you've been touched by the evil of it, the only way to purge yourself is by sharing it. Otherwise, monstrous things start crawling out of your monitor, bent on your destruction

That I did. I took the brunt of it so my kiddos would not have to. It was hard but...when you kids, you'll do anything for them.

There's a lot of spam and anon users around here recently....I wonder who it could be? (that's a rhetorical question for the denser of you.)

Hi everybody,

When I saw it the first time I jumped out of my chair. It's really spooky! BTW... it's really part of a TV ad... for Espresso in a can that REALLY wakes you up.

Okay, so it's not him in the video.

But I submit to you, Shocked, that it was not really a heart attack that killed him, but his failure to pass along the video.

I also suggest that it is not shock and disgust you feel, but the cold tendrils of the film's evil reaching out through the 'net and wrapping around your heart and nervous system. It can only get worse. It's like a python constricting on your very soul.

You saved my life and now I am trying to save yours in return. Start sending as many emails as you can in hopes that just one person will read it and watch.

Don't be a martyr, and don't let your uncle's death be in vain. Live to tell the tale. Keep his legacy alive. Pass it on! Pass it on while you can!!

Jolly good show! If that doesn't do it, and your aunt is an asthmatic or suffers from other respiratory ailments, may I suggest you send her to SirPeterMaxwell.com? She may laugh so hard she cannot regain her breath and thus asphyxiate herself. Now that's a "nothing down" real estate deal!

I think the internet has desensitised me... sorry, but the ghost got a big pffft from me.

My brother once showed me a dude capping himself on the 'net, whilst i wasn't happy with him, and it was certainly something i could have done without seeing, I am now ready for anything!

i still haven't figured out if that is good or bad though...

I'd say definitely bad. That's why I avoid rotten.com. I know there is a ton of stuff there I can live without seeing. (Which reminds me, about a year ago I wrote an article about such things, but I never posted it.)

I admit it -- despite being inured to horror film shocks and scares -- this one got me. But I'm thinking of writing a follow-up to this, so I'll save it for then.

Sir Peter comes under the heading of Satire. He's even listed under such in wikipedia.

Though I'm sure he'll take "scary" too. It would further his political goals.
