windows update and messenger errors

after installing desktopx and windowblinds I experienced a scripting error. Window update, yahoo search, yahoo messenger would not work properly. I saw a post indication this could be a scripting error and to re-install, I <BR>Downloaded and installed the WindowsXP-scripts fixed it but only temporarily. I've had to install a second time after rebooting the system.<BR><BR>Any new info?

Not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but have you tried disabling your anti-virus when installing the MS Script?

It seems to me that MS includes this with the OS, and that it is installed along with the OS and before any Anti-Virus programs (which include script blocking technology).

Just a thought, may not work, but it should not hurt anything in Windows.
