Opera CEO will swim from Norway to USA if Opera 8 hit 1million

On Opera's frontpage you can now read a quote from CEO Jon S. von Tetzchner saying: "I will swim from Norway to the USA if download numbers of Opera 8 reach 1 million in four days".
An interesting bit of information realted is found at an article at slashdot http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/04/22/122214&tid=185&tid=218 where it says that during the past 48 hours Opera 8 has been downloaded 600.000 times allready.

Look like it's going to be chilly trip over to the States. Good luck mate, I'll wave at you while you pass by England.

I'm hearing alot of good things about Opera. I'm going to have to try it again.

Wonder what country he's from... by the sound it's German. It sound like a really strage statement. Anyone taken a bath in the Norwegian sea know it's bloody freezing. And I can't belive he would have such low expectation to his own software. Doensn't make sence. All though... pretty nice PR trick to get people to download and try the software...

I know Opera is Norwegian, but his name certainly isn't. My theory is that he has moved to Norway and not yet dipped his toe in the water.
