Hey everyone! I hope things have been good with you. It's been/going to be a nice work week here. I got some stuff done earlier this week and I'm taking tomorrow off.. you know how it. Best of both worlds! Anyway, much of this week has been spent chacing some bugs and coordinating ideas between projects. Namely, TotalGaming.net phase 2 and DesktopGadgets.com.
Anyway, here is a brief overview of some of the stuff I've completed since last Friday and a basic overview of what's a head.
- Fixed a font tag issue with the basic editor for WinCustomize that was brought to my attention (again) by Meowy. -- Thanks Meowy for the reminder. I guess it got lost in the shuffle but now it's been fixed. You can now safely post using Times New Roman.
- Fixed a bug with RegularExpressions for filtering through our smiles. Some of you may have been aware of one of the smiles not showing correctly. Again, hats off to Meowy for this one. This one goes to you..

- Tweaked the way the TotalGaming.net .NET forums article view looks. It now looks much like the existing forums article view. This will be updated once more however, so don't get to attached to the look. -- at least it looks better then it did.
- Support emails.. I sure do get my share of them. Some of them are quite good ones too. So, if you can imagine, these are always interesting and honestly, I don't mind getting them at all. Thank you everyone who sends me email -- You make me feel special. hehehehe. Oh, speaking of feeling special, check this email out that I got today.

Thank you for taking a moment to check on something like a forum nickname. There are far worse things than somebody else having taken the one I wanted first, and it's very likely that I incorrectly recalled signing up previously (I sign up on boards then never visit them... work gets boring). Still, I thank you for taking an extra moment to search for similar names.
I'll come up with an alternative, and I'll also keep in mind how Stardock went to any effort at all to fix such a tiny problem. That is much appreciated.

- Created a priority list for bugs from the WinCustomize Forums to determine what might be the most requested bug fixed and things that basically drive you poor people crazy when you try to use the site. Here is a brief list of the top issues. Perhaps, if you see something that isn't on here THAT ISN'T A FEATURE BUT A BUG; please drop them here in this thread.
- Performance troubles. (General Network Errors & Timeout Errors)
- Possible Broken Download Link For Premium Suites.
- Cross Reference Issue With Possible Display Problem On Customer Status.
- Problem With Some Items Submitted And Get Accepted Show On The Site, But Not In MyPost Page Or Reverse.
- Began modifying the DesktopGadgets.com website that Alberto (my Italian developer friend) had sent me. Basically going over the layout and design and make some tweaks to it. Also discussing better ways to present and therefore sell the products on the site in a more logical way. Thanks Pat for the input! Also, Thanks Alberto for the project, advice on .NET and the eBook!
- Worked a little bit more on the TotalGaming.net site design. Although, this was not totally addressed at all this week. DesktopGadgets was more the focus. I will be working more on the design after I post this work report. We'll see how it looks with the suggestions that Brian (lead TG.net guru) and Brad had to give on it. -- Thanks guys!
- Made a few custom graphics for various things. There are to many usually worth mentioning so I'll just keep it at that.
