fasterus, do this:
Unzip the file into any folder you'd like - just to make it easier we'll unzip it into c:\tmp
Once that is done click: Start -> Run -> type: cmd -> press enter
Now your DOS box most likely will show you this:
c:\documents and settings\%username% (username being the name you're logged in with)
Type:
cd\ and Press enter
cd tmp and press enter
hwareinfo and press enter and follow the onscreen instructions
Tip: If you want to watch/read all of the info in notepad, type this:
hwareinfo -D ->hwinfo.txt for your hardware configuration in a textfile
hwareinfo -O ->OSinfo.txt for all your Operating System info in a textfile
hwareinfo -P ->HDinfo.txt for all your Drives info in a textfile
hwareinfo -U ->uinfo.txt for all your User info in a textfile
Then simply open the created textfiles in notepad and voila.
All textfile names are off course optional, make up your own if want to
