Help with Tray Icons in AppImages.ini

why is there no doccumentation for this?

Having a specific problem with my dock and tray icons. Here's the situation: I'm running MS Antispyware Beta and having to repeatedly manually set the tray icon because of a change in program state. From my AppImages.ini:
gcasdtserv.exe61ea0387=images\microsoft antispyware.png
gcasdtserv.exe2009f=images\microsoft antispyware.png
gcasdtserv.exe1015b=images\microsoft antispyware.png
gcasdtserv.exe10111=images\microsoft antispyware.png
gcasdtserv.exe80155=images\microsoft antispyware.png

My question is what do the numbers after the filename.ext mean??? I've repeatedly searched for some kind of doccumentation on this but have been unsucessful in finding any. Obviously I'd like to be able to set a single icon here regardless of program state (I'm assuming the numbers have something to do with program state looking at the default entries in the AppImages.ini file for MSN Messenger, but how are they determined and what do they mean?). Some help here would be greatly appreciated.

No Need to play with AppImages.ini file. Use the ObjectDock Change Icon method to change the Tray Applications Icon. Use the Following Method;

Left click tray icon and hold until the Dock Entry Properties dialog pops up, or hold down the CTRL key and left click the tray icon.

Sohail... he's referring to a specific icon ("MS Antispyware"). The setting doesn't stick. The icon resets eveytime the program starts.

Unfornuately, I've no clue what the numbers represent..........

What part of "I ..[have] to repeatedly manually set the tray icon" did you miss there? I know how to change the icon, obviously, my problem is with the lack of doccumentation concerning the AppImages.ini and program state values. I obviously don't expect anyone at Stardock to define these program state values for me (it is afterall MS's software I'm having the conflict with), however if I can't get any support on how these values are determined and what exactly they mean how am I ever to be able to have my dock do what I want it to and not show an ugly pixelated 16x16 icon everytime some software changes state?

Hello Stardock, anyone home??? Doccumentation regarding these values, ie: how they're defined, what they mean, what kind of fields can be used in AppImages.ini (ie: can I use * or ? or anything else to set a generic base-state icon?) is needed on this one.

I have not verified this, but I belive the numbers are references in to the image resources in the executable. Convert the number from hex to decimal then use a program such as iconsext (free download) to view the images in the executable. Adding an entry in AppSettings should allow you to substitute a tray image permanently. For example, when objectdock shows image 4cb in explore.exe on the tray, it will substitute the image identified below

explorer.exe7=Images\LaST (ObjectDock)\LaST (Cobalt) my network.png+++!!!+++
explorer.exe4cb=Images\LaST (ObjectDock)\LaST (Cobalt) sound app.png
aim.exe1=Images\aol instant messenger.png+++!!!+++
qttask.exe66=Images\LaST (ObjectDock)\LaST (Cobalt) quicktime.png

HI! hope this not too far offtopic!
I need help.
I installed ObjectDock from Stardock. then uninstalled it again... with Revo uninstaller. Problem now is when I try to install it again it doesn't work, but tells me: "the file AppImages.ini could not be opened"
is there any way to get it to install again? any ideas anyone...? would be great! thanks!
