Ok, I need some help.
I've just re-installed Windowblinds (ver 4.5)- Registered, Iconpackager (ver 2.5) - Registered, CursorXP (free version), Icon Developer (Free Version), ObjectDock (Ver 1.11 - free Version), Logonstudio, and Bootskin.
I downloaded all the skins that I like - Mostly the ones to make my computer to look like a Mac. Everything looked cool for about a day, now all of a sudden, when my computer is coming out of screen saver, the screen that pops up is not the welcome screen, it is the ugly text box. When my computer boots up, the welcome screen shows up. I tried unloading everything, then uninstalling all these programs (figuring that IF I could get the welcome screen back from screen saver, I will reinstall everything), but it is still the ugly text box. The other thing that I noticed was when you go into the display properties (right click desktop... Properties), under the themes tab, it shows the window to be the Classic version (non-colored buttons on the top of the window). SO I figure that the Appearance tab was set to Windows classic style - it wasn't.
I had previously turned off themes using services.msc as talked about in a different forum (https://www.wincustomize.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=187&AID=67609#525582). I went back in and started that service as well as remaking it automatic. Still no good.
What Can I do to get my welcome screen back after screensaver? Has anybody else experienced this?
