I think one of Stardock's better ideas was to do TextBanners.net. It comes are the right time and ant the right price (free to set it up on your website). The problem is that the site has been spotty at best.

I don't know if this is connected to the past server crash at WinCustomize a few weeks ago but I do hope they get it fixed. I have plans for TextBanners.

While I also have plans for Google's Text Ads as well, I think supporting Stardock's TextBanners will help bring in some competition and be more of a community thing. Anyone can join and advertising on it can become very simple to do. You can reach multiple sites and get your special message across.

I have a few ventures that will be using TextBanners in a way I think it will best serve its use. I will, of course, explain that later since this blog is about seeing how you can put together a business (and see where I make mistakes so you can avoid them).

I truly hope Stardock can put the muscle back into TextBanners. I think I might have a few clients waiting.... maybe. We will see.
