It seems to be a pretty cool site. You can upload images about whatever (I suppose) and you can also blog the picture as well.
Great for travel and photo blogs.
Plus you can search for pictures, share only with family and friends, upload images from your cell phone, and other cool features like RSS feeds.
Its cool. I wonder if Google will aquire it since they have simulair wants. Google has it IM client that allows you to share and post photo along with a program called Picasso. The IM feature I think, is cool with Google, but not sure if Flickr will have one.
(On a side note, Modblog.com might have something like IM in its future for interaction and sharing images with friends and family... well its possible)
For me, that means I can share trip photos, my photography collection and other tid-bits while keeping family outing trips, wedding pictures (no I am not married, I am just saying) and other personal keepsakes to me and friends.
