I've recently updated my wireless strength object to version 2.0. Some of the main updates are:
- Implemented a function created by Kevin Cummings to solve a problem with some wireless cards. [IsWLANAdapter()]
- Now saves size and position on exit
- Updated graphics to 128x128, instead of 256x256, shrinking the object size in half
- Fixed a couple bugs when you resize the object
- Now comes packaged with a test object that creates a log for debugging
Anybody that was having problems with older version should check this one out. The new function by Kevin Cummings fixes a lot of the problems that people have had with it not identifying their wireless adapter. That new function combined with the new debugging object should allow 99% of people having problems to fix it themselves.
This version does NOT work with 118mbps cards. If anybody knows the stages the speed increases and decreases with these cards, please send me an email (exoduscrow@hotmail.com).
