Having dropped all other physical addictions, I am very happy to be a coffee and tea addict. I drink the mud in the morning and switch to a less stimulating tea at night. Both beverages have health benefits. Coffee in moderation and tea all the time. So I am curious as to how often, what type and what method of brewing people use.
I buy coffee beans (Caribou, Eight O'Clock, or Gevalia) and grind them every couple of days so they are fairly fresh and brew via the drip method in a cone filter. On weekends I break out the cappucino machine and indulge in half espressso and half steamed cream.
At night I indulge in green tea from the Stash Tea company. I try to drink a few cups of this as it is loaded with antioxidants. I use loose tea leaves and infuse them in a cast iron Tetsubin teapot from Japan.
I find these beverages to be two of the good things in life. How about you?
