The Body of Christ...

(If you're Catholic, please take this lightly...after all it's in good humor)

Today at lunch my friends and I somehow came upon the topic of the Catholic church and how they eat the little wafer/bread things to signify the body of Christ. I, of course being who I am, decided to poke fun at this and said a few funny things, such as:

"The body of Christ, fortified with 8 essential vitamins and nutrients."
"Mmm...that's good Jesus"
*While clutching the little box the wafers are in* Saying, "My precious...my p-r-r-r-ecious"
(I also learned of a separate sink in which unused wine is poured to the ground and asked if they had a different toilet for the wine that had been consumed...heh heh)
I also asked if the bread is shaped like Jesus.
(And from Dane Cook) "Wouldn't be nice to have a cereal called, Christ Chex. You open it and a little angel flies out and says, 'Good Morning'"

Well, that's enough for poking fun at the Catholic faith....

A little correct Zoo. The bread does not 'signify' the body of Christ to Catholics, It IS the Body of Christ. It is a little thing called transubstantiation.

Andy~ Myself and Ashley Poling hade to make the bread thing you're talking about for our spanish class. But it's not bread, it's cake. We put a little plastic ring and a lemon seed in there. lol. it was funny when Jenna found it. she jumped up and down. it was great. lol. the catholic thing was funny! Even though I am catholic it's pretty funny. lol.
