some of my favorite movies of all time were created by this underated genius.

the skeleton fight in 'Jason and the argonauts' was at one time considered to be too scary for TV.It is an awsome piece of cinamatic history

20,000,000 miles to earth had one of the coolest aliens ever made for the movies.

He did most of the animation for 'Mighty joe young'...another classic.

The cyclops from the first sinbad movie is quite an 'eye" tuner.

working with raquel welch in 1 million years bc didnt hurt either.

Talos,homonculus,7 headed hydra,harpies,1 eyed centaur,....his creations has specal otherworldly prescence thats hard to captuer with todsys technology.

I have most of his movies on DVD now.

He was a pioneer in special effects, love his Sinbad series.

Isn't 20 Million Miles to Earth, the one with the "locust" looking aliens? That's a good one too!

Definitely a master of effects, especially stop motion. Earth vs Flying Saucers is _still_ good to watch, even though the acting can be a bit lame at times. Jason & Argonauts and the Sinbad movies are still some of my faves.

I.R., a Harryhausen theme? Cool. Would that include a stop motion effects WB skin?

20,000.000 miles to earth was about an alien fro venus brought back by a spaceship crew.He got bigger and bigger till he was killed by the italian army atop the roman coliseum,not sure what form a ray harryhausen skin would take...but it would have to be cool.
