Mother in-law.

Hi! Sorry it's off topic. I need help to deal with my mother in-law. I like her. She takes my son, Kyle, Monday & Thurdays. He spends the nights. Today, she picked Kyle up. She suggested to make my & hubby's bed. Jazmine's crib is in our bedroom. When she want to go upstairs & in our bedroom to make a bed... I said "Oh Jesus!" She thought I swore at her. Ugh! It seems my mama in law is always here & driving me nuts! She always help too much. Please help to deal with my mama in-law. Thanx for listening...

She has to grasp that fact or she is going to do more than drive you up a wall she is going to build a wall between you...

The best approach is to be direct and honest. She might get upset at first but it's better than drop hints in hope that she catches up or live in frustration because you don’t want to hurt her feelings.
She needs to understand that there are boundaries between in-laws relationships that are better not crossed.

Your home...your rules and expectations...she or any other relative, friend, etc. needs to respect that, just as you would if roles were reversed. Straight forward and honest talk is the best

i agree: i truly loved my mother-in-law (she has passed away) but it is YOUR home, and you need to set the boundaries that she may or may not cross. not in anger, but it must be doen.....
