My list is long, but I have always favorite (for stand ups) Eddie Murphy, Sinbad, Steve Harvey and Richard Pryor. (shows) Jackie Gleason, Reed Foxx, Ed O'Neal and the late John Ritter

I know I left out some, but to me if you can't make someone laugh without cussing then your not much of a comedian. Those old comics could do that and to me thats what made them great.

Amen to that WOM! Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Abbott & Costello, Victor Borge, they are all past masters at the art of funny! Without any profanity or vulgarity they could make you laugh. I also enjoy Tim Conway & Bob Newhart are funny too....slightly different, though.
