Just wanted to make sure it was 1a and not 1. 1a does not have the Microsoft VM with it, you have to install Java.http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp . I don't think that's the problem, but I don't know any other reason why it would be giving you an update file error. That ocx file is nothing more then a Microsoft help file (you cannot have active X completely shut off). Make sure you have the newest SysMetrix version installed and all else being equal, it should fix it.
