One of the sites I am helping to develop is called eSOURCE Magazine. I put up a news story about it a few days ago:
https://www.wincustomize.com/newsboard.asp?id=2466
At any rate, i thought it was a good idea using blogs to talk about the lifestyles of the famous and what is going on in culture from a dairy perspective. Not only that but to be able to come to one site to find news on concerts, events and things like that. The best part for me is that skins and desktop customization is involved:
Skins of events... Rose Bowl, MTV Music Awards, and some concerts
Skins based on entertainers... System of a Down, Hoobastank, and others
Some skins would just be based off of events, CDovers, artist favorite colors and what not (no copyright involved and well within 'Fan Art') and others would have been contracted out to be done using a network between eSOURCE Magazine and artist/event representatives. Plus it was going to a place where skinners can get contracts to make skins even though they might be 'small time' (or in other words freelance artist, not a big name company)
I really thought it was a good idea, but I have not gotten many responses... I checked the emails I gave and they work:
skinners@esourcemagazine.com
and
bloggers@esourcemagazine.com
(Yes, also I wanted more writers for blogs to cover more stories and event in other countries)
Artists would either gain a percentage of the group (eSOURCE Magazine, get paid forth right, or just hang around and get referrals and possible work through marketing channels and freelance work.
How come no one (or a few) has responded? Did I say something wrong?
