I haven''t noticed this as a topic, so I hope it hasn''t already been covered. Then again, that may mean I''m the only one who is having this problem, which won''t be good...
Anyway, I purchased the registered version of IP 2.5 and was looking forward to the feature that allows for EXE icons to be changed. From what I understand, this is accomplished by using IP Explorer.
Bummer that IP Explorer doesn''t seem to load for me. When I start it up, I hear a beep from my internal PC speaker, but see no error message. There''s an item for IP Explorer on the Taskbar, but it''s useless. No program appears and the Taskbar icon''s right-click options are limited to MOVE and CLOSE, neither of which does any good and are dimmed to boot. I must CNTRL-ALT-DEL to close the item.
For what it''s worth, this is a CLEAN install of Win 98 SE. I use no other Object Desktop items.
I''m bummed. I REALLY wanted this feature IP supports Win 98. It should function...
Thought I''d try here before wading through Stardock Usenet posts.
Any clues, folks?
Thanks.
