Hi Hockey10
I'm not really very good at 'putering...I don't talk the 'lingo' but on your keyboard if you hold down the Ctr key (bottom left of keyboard) and while holding it down press PrintScreenSysRq (should be above the center keys where ' home page up etc are...) it will save the image that shows on your screen to your 'Clipboard.
After you have done the above...on your screen...click Start...All programs...accessories...Paint That will open up your paint program.
Click edit...there will be a down menu...choose 'Paste'
The image will be 'pasted to a paint screen page.
To save the screenshot picture you have pasted into paint:
Click File (top left) and in the down menu choose 'Save as'
A box will pop up asking you where you want to save it. The top box will have a location listed on your computer...
To save to 'My Pictures' ...in the top address bar find 'my pictures' in the down menu and click it
Near the bottom of the same 'save window' there will be two more text boxes...
the top one is where you type a name for your screenshot picture...
the bottom one is 'file type'...from the down menu choose 'Jpeg'
when you are done
(1)choosing a location to save the file (top text box)
(2)named the file (second text box)
and
(3)have chosen a file type (jpeg)....
Click the save button near the right bottom of the 'save window' and your screenshot picture will be saved to the location you chose with the name you gave it and the file type you specified.
Remember where you saved the picture so you can find it when you want it!
I hope it helps!
