People On This Site...

It has become apparent to me that I cannot post something on this site hoping for a real conversation...it seems that only people exist on here are the ones who want to insult someone, immature people, and/or kids. I thought this site had a higher standard, I appologize for expecting more out of its users. I am going back to programming, another programmer this site just lost because of it's inflexibility. I never once cussed, or made fun of anyone...I had a very decent opinion and conversation and then my original thread got locked...where are the open minds these days?

I never once said anything that should have offended anyone except maybe an Apple employee which non of you all are. I said one program is prefferable to another, and you all got worked up over that, and "opinion"...and opinion can be neither mean not kind, it is just that, someone opinion...why can others on this site have an opinion but I cant? Double Standard kinda dont u think?

The open minds are right here....with their eyes wide open....knowing such things as why one dock is not around anymore...and why it is illegal to ignore copyright...and just who actually owns and contributes to what.

Education is a wonderful thing, but opinions are like 'bums'...everyone has one.....but some are 'prettier' than others....

hey! i never got involved in the other thread because i never used yz bar and didn't feel compelled to go try AD. but now you want to talk about the people that socialize here? grow up.

your first posts were not about sparking conversation or friendly debate. it was 'object dock sucks' plain and simple. so don't get on a soap box about how immature we all are. this place hosts software from other companies. they aren't about putting out inferior products just to make a buck. if you had come in here and brought it up as a friendly gesture maybe you would have gotten somewhere. but now all you've done is sparked a fire that won't get put out till you shut up and go home.

DesignCaddy - telling people to shut up and go home and making up things is pretty immature. I wouldn't ever call you names or tell you to shut up since that is what kids do. You have an opinion? well then present it maturely

This is my point...People need to understand that when they read something on here or on a chat room or on a site, that is is just like talking to someone in real life, so don't get all bruised and worked up over nothing but a few words...I mean come on this is the INTERNET. I should be able to have an opinion without getting all these immature responses

AquaDock is handsdown better than this application. Object dock is jumpy and grainy when changing magnifications. I hate Object dock...it is just another program produced by an already established company that thinks they can get away with crappy programming like this...why do you think they made it freeware? they know it is too crappy to sell alone

dude your calling a prog many here use "crappy" was pretty imature ..

Wincustomize.com is owned and managed by Stardock.

Apple vigourously protects its rights.

This is my last post because honestly it makes me sad to know that I have downloaded things from this site for about 2 years now, and come to find out today that its users arent all too bright, so Im outta here, go ahead and post all your "good-riddance" and "that guy was a loser" messages, and keep fooling yourselves, but unless I ever hear someone say GDI is better than DirectX, I will always use Aqua Dock over Object Dock, sorry...

ok THIS is my last post...you know why YZ Dock was requested to cease desist?.....cause it was the closest one to the real thing from MacOS. That should tell you something. Just like the government in a lawsuit made DVD X Copy go away cause it was "the best" of its kind too

Oh for heaven's sake...it makes me sad that connor has wasted so much time here downloading this site's content without any form of contribution/support save for the slighting of one of the Site owner's products.

Conner your point is obvious as you seem to direct everyone to the fact that it is worn upon your head.

What is not obvious about it though would be easy enough to answer if you would unroll the brim a bit, my bet says the almost visible word is Trojan.

I prefer 'socialist'.

The bottom line here is that ultimately Apple will have issues with 'AquaDock' as its use of the name is directly connected/associated with the Apple branding and since it is an Apple's feature being emulated will definitely raise their interest.....so it's pointless getting all eager about a time-bombed product doomed to extinction...
