How come there seems to be no new backgrounds for Object Dock?

Just wondering for all the skinners out there why the backgrounds of Object Dock seems to be left out when it comes to uploading new skins.

???

Icons a plenty though.... some I would never think of wanting or could make myself with Icon Developer now that there is a Icon Developer to make icons.

I'm gonna do a new bg-pack for OD to support my GUIO entry. I've thought to myself it's been more than a while since OD backgrounds have been released, so this might just be the right time. The funny thing is they're just as easy to make as a bootskin, but they're just not as *hot* to make.

I guess... I havent really skinned in a while until the GUIO came along. I don't know if the backgrounds are easy to skin, but it be nice to see some more.

More or less, I was just wondering from other skinners why they don't do it. I guess for most skinners it is an after-thought.

I dunno, I'm working on some but I can't quite seem to figure out how to do it correctly. If there's a tutorial I can't find it? I REALLY want to make some backgrounds with some older Mac graphics, like the "pebble" wallpaper that came with system 7 or so.

I wish some new ones would hit the library too. I'd love to see a background or two instead of yet another Winamp or MS Office set.

One background I'd really like to see, is something similar to the one that was in the Looking Glass Sun Demo that Paxx mentioned last week. It kind of looked like a shelf and the Icons were sitting on the shelf.

There's only so many variations one could make on backgrounds...after a while, they all look so similar. I like how some folks are making docks to match their favorite skins. I have uploaded two a looong time ago, but can't think of anything "unique" to try.
