Maximized Window Taskbar Color

I use a black taskbar for when a window is maximized. However, when I hover over an icon in the taskbar, the tooltip of that icon causes the taskbar to go black as well (as though there is a maximized window on the screen when there isn't). This seems like a bug, can you be so kind as to patch this in the next update?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your issue. We will try to reproduce your issue.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full Windows version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11v2 full version number installed.
  3. Enhance taskbar turn on or off?
  4. Post a video showing us your issue, so we understand it better.

I would recommend installing v2.55 beta as that may resolve this as I could not reproduce your issue here.
