Issues Skinning Classic MSPaint

A highly disturbing white bar obscures the top of my program window

I recently switched to Windows 11 from Windows 10 and I'm having issues skinning classic MSPaint.

The left image shows what happens when I try to skin it - a white bar appears at the top. This happens with every skin I've tried.
The right image shows the program unskinned.

Unfortunately, I'm not really able to settle for the unskinned version. The Paint window itself is a core part of my artistic identity and brand (pictured below is an example of the art I make). My PC that still uses Windows 10 can skin MSPaint just fine, but I don't want to be forced to use Windows 10 to create my art, especially with support ending in October. Can anyone help to skin MSPaint in Windows11? None of the 'per-application' settings seem particularly useful so far.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I see this issue, perhaps its compatibility issue on WB with older MS Paints. With this, from what I know, you will need to set WB to ignore it, do not skin it.

I recently switched to Windows 11 from Windows 10 and I'm having issues skinning classic MSPaint.

Windows11 uses a brand new MSPaint that includes CoPilot, which you have to dl from the MS store. It doesn't come pre-installed. It has many new features. Your old MS Paint wasn't really designed to work on W11. Not sure if the new app was designed to be skinnable (doubt it was) but if I were you, I'd install it on W11 and see if it is.

There's really no other way to find out.
