files appear to ignore sorting instruction

I have set sort by time added to fence. It appears to ignore this and places newly added files randomly throughout.

What exactly is meant by "time added to fence"?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please, when reporting an issue, include information on your systems.

Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
Fences full version number.
Is this a new issue? Was it working before? What change recently? New Windows update? New software installed etc?
