Personally, I don't think you can beat Stardock's Start11. I would say it's the best start menu app available, anywhere, IMO.
Boring! MS still doesn't get it. Start11 for me.

I totally agree with Lightstar and Pelaird. Start11 is what I use, and it greatly improves the way my desktop looks!
