True Color Bootskin

Any chance there is a true color version of bootskin in development?

There could be a possibility. It looks like one of the only ways that I know of that they can do that is if they make your computer load your display drivers before the boot screen. Because by what I know, your system boots up like it normally would in Safe mode till it loads your display drivers then it switches to higher resolution unless you keep it low, but I doubt that.

That might take them a while to get around and solve the higher resolution colors. But never know with them. They did create a program that can change to boot screen without hacking the system.

Hmmm, difficult getting the thing to work in anything other than VGA. I'll be interested in seeing the solution
