When I try to add a program to a Fence it's rejected and "Enter product key" box appears.
I click Activate with Stardock account, enter email and password click Activate, then Finish and try again to add a program and the same thing happens.

followed directions for Error 212 and only the CACHE and LICENSE are there.
And, did you delete off the Fences5 folder? Assuming you're on Fences v5.

Once you delete that Fences 5 folder, what happened? It probably asked you to reactivate again. And it accept the activation key, yes or not?
I didn't delete any folder, the folder I was supposed to delete wasn't there
And, if you open up Fences configuration windows, I believe it will ask you to activate again. Activate it, and, try to create a new Fence. Does it still asking for activation again?
I deleted the Fences program, rebooted reinstalled Fences, rebooted and so far everything seems to work
