Your ignorance is astounding, TC.
1. Macs, comparably configured, cost the same, if not less, than PCs. Yes you can get a barebones peecee for $300, but if you want something that is as good as a $1700 G5, you'll need a $1700 PC.
2. Not true at all. Apple's video editing software is the industry standard for a reason. They do something no other software company can. AND it's only available for the mac. And to add to the list, GarageBand, iPhoto, iMovie...iLife altogether.
3. Yes, PCs have 50,000 progs, while mac has something like 7,000...but who wants 500 solitare progs, or 10,000 craptastic games...all of the well known software that is available for the PC is available for the mac. That includes games too.
