Folder Portal creation background color settings

Only background color is black-- obscuring folder label text

The settings for the background color on the "Create Folder Portal"  remains black-- obscuring file names (also in black type),  in spite of the Fences settings (see screen shot) . 

  • Why will it not effectuate the change of the background color?
  • Is there any on-line manual or tutorial that can tweak or work-around what appears to be a glitch?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few more things

  1. Your Windows full version number. Use Winver.exe
  2. Fences full version number.

Hello,

I don't have Fences v2.x to test. But on Fences 3. You should be able to change it by selecting that Portal Fences name in that drop down menu and change the color using those sliders. Sometimes Restart explorer.exe might help. But it still don't work. It might be due to you on Fences v2.

How do I upgrade to version 3, and will it work with the old Win 7 O/S?

I don't think Fences 3 still available for purchase. What available is Fences 5. But, Fences 5 is not compatible with Windows 7.
