Without some form of encryption, anyone within "earshot" of your wireless network can capture your traffic and see what your MAC address is, and then spoof it. So the fact that you have it "locked down" to your MAC doesn't really protect you all that much.
I am not as concerned about someone stealing my bandwidth as I am someone getting into my network and posing as me. I sure don't want the authorities coming after me, thinking I did something illegal, just to find out that a hacker got into my system and did something illegal, because I didn't plug ALL of the holes that I could.
