Fences right Scroll bars are down on startup

Hi. With all versions of Fences, when I restart the computer the right scroll bar is down on some of my fences. (only the scroll bar, not what is in the fence). I have to mouse over those fences and roll them down and then up to remove the scroll bar. Any ideas?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your issue. Need to know.

Windows 7, 8, 10 or11? And its full version number. Use Winver.exe
Fences version number.
Monitors resolution and Scaling applied. (100%,125%,200% etc)
Screenshots or video on the issue so we can understand it and try to reproduce the issue.

1. Windows 11 with latest updates 22H2, but this has happened ever since I started using Fences a couple years ago.

2. Fences 4.21 but again, always did this.

3. resolution 3840 x 2160 and scaling is 150%---both listed in windows as recommended

4. In the image attached, look at the line coming down from Files and on the right, there is a line coming down from the middle Fence labeled as Folders.

I can not reproduce your issue.

Just as a test to narrow down your issue:-

Seem you're using solid color as a background. Does the issue goes away if you test for few hours by using picture wallpaper instead?
Do you have HDR turn on on the monitor, if you do, try disable it as a test and see if the issue still there.
Seem you're using "large icons" size on your desktop, try reduce to small or medium and see if that help.

Try those and report back. You can turn back all your setting to your liking after these test.

1. They do it when there is a picture.

2. I do not have HDR turned on.

3. Interesting. While I am looking at the screen and change the view to small or medium, they disappear. When I am looking (not rebooting) and change to large they come back. I suppose I will have to live with this since I do not want small or medium with my big screen. It is some sort of error or defect with the program apparently and should be corrected. Thanks for your help. Just for the heck of it, I attached a better picture of what is happening. Scroll right for better view.

Just as a test I set my 4K monitors to have large icons and 150% scale but I do not see the issue you're having.

I think something else is causing it. Would like to suggest, if you still interested, try the cleanboot steps: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot

I'll check it out and thanks for your help. All I have to do is run my mouse over each fence and let it roll down and up and problem solved. I'll live....
