Dear reader (and hopefully Stardock staff!),
Yesterday, I decided to give my Windows 10 machine a nice Vista look and bought this program, and I gotta say, with WindowBlinds11 it looks really nice! (especially since UXthemepatcher seems to be well... patched by the latest Windows updates).
Now I've noticed some really weird inconsistencies in the UI. Of course the Metro UI is still there together with the Win10 bullshit, but some menu's that you would expect to have been skinnned, aren't. This is really frustrating.
For example, when saving a paint image, the save menu works like a charm like you can see in the images, but when I want to save an image with Microsoft Edge, it uses the default Windows 10 menu. This also happens when opening Steam (the window that checks for updates is also in a default Win10 style (I couldn't easilly take a screenshot of this)), and with Winaero tweaker I brought back the classic volume slider, but as you can also see in the picture, it fully displays the Win10 UI when opening it.
I tried all sorts of themes, rebooting, re installing but it won't work!
Please Stardock, fix this. You ALMOST have an amazing program here that works flawlessly, it would be so nice if these things are fixed aswell.
Volume mixer has Win10 UI.
But other parts have Vista UI and even sliders just work.
Edge has a Win10 UI save screen.
Other apps have a Vista save screen.
And like I said, the Steam update checker also has Win10 UI even though it is just a normal window box, but it goes away too fast to take a screenshot of it.
