I've had a lot of questions. I wish there were actual manuals for each product, that would solve a lot of problems. Currently, you have to start clicking on buttons to see what they do or try to figure out what they do because sometimes it's not apparent.
Not having the access to support that was part of the deal has been a huge letdown. I absolutely love all the software in Object Desktop but there's just so little documentation on how to use it all. And you're on your own without a good manual which these software require.
There are many more, but here are a couple of things maybe you can help with:
1. I'm having trouble with the scroll bar in Fences. While the scroll bar in my Folder Portal works fine, the one in my Fence does not. I tried recreating the Fence that has a scroll bar, but that didn't solve the issue. Initially, I used auto-arrange to make the Fences.
2. In Groupy, selecting the tab color for the unfocused tab is possible. However, on my computer, this only happens when the focus is on a separate application. The tab you're not working with when you've grouped some applications together is not considered the unfocused tab so is subject to some other, unknown rule which can give bad results. To illustrate, I've included a picture that shows how difficult it can be to identify different tabs within a Groupy group because the text is not visible in the background. I tried adjusting the background bar colors but they didn't have an effect that was helpful. Ideally, it would be great to be able to change the tab colors within Groupy's menu for all the tabs to make things visible, but unfortunately, this feature does not seem to be available. Having the working tab considered the Focused tab and all other tabs considered Unfocused tabs and each group colored by a rule would be a great way. If it's possible to do this, please let me know how. If not, please let the dev guys know that it would be a very nice feature. And another reason for a good manual.
3. Can you explain how the tab accent colors work in Groupy? I applied one to the Documents folder thinking I'd be able to make a setting so the Documents folder would always have that accent color, but I didn't find a way to make that happen. I guess it's designed more for use with different applications grouped together maybe?
3. I have been experiencing an issue with CursorFX where the cursor size changes or reverts back to the Windows default. To fix it, I have to go back to CursorFX and reapply the theme. Sometimes, even within the CursorFX software, the sample cursor shows a different size than what is applied after pressing the apply button. I tried deleting the recommended folder and purging and reinstalling it, but it did not help. I also found an option that said to delete or move the theme but there doesn't seem to be a way to navigate to it from the CursorFX software if moved. Can you help me with this issue?
4. I have a suggestion for the developers of Start11. It would be great if we could add a Folder Portal to the start menu along with the Fence option that is already available.
5. I have had many questions about the software and would greatly appreciate a detailed manual to help answer them. Can you please pass along my request for manuals?
6. I really love the software and I am very glad I found out about it, but I'm not happy with the support it offers. Having to scour forums or create posts to seek help is not good support. It would be so much better to have all the necessary information presented in a structured and logical way, like a manual.
7. I must say that Groupy is truly amazing and incredibly helpful. Fences I think will be another one I learn that I can't live without now that I'm getting used to it, especially if they'd make it so a Folder Portal could be attached to the start menu in Start11 which too is awesome. However, I do wish that the customer support matched the quality of the software, which is exceptional.
