Additionally, Start10 allowed expansion of the number of program links on the left panel ANDright now, every program on my computer has been added automatically when I installed the trial version of Start11. but only 10 are shown. I cannot see any of the rest of them until I delete a link, then one more different program shows up. How do I simply get rid of them all and let me add what I want? Also, is there a way to back up my configuration?
Finally, when I downloaded the trial, I was told I would have 30 days of support. Having to get answers through the Forum is NOT 30 days support. I have been user of various StartX prgrams for over a decade, things have certainly changed!
Start11 allows you to expand the left side of the Windows 7 menu the same as Start8/10 did. Just go to the settings for the left hand shortcuts in the Start11 config window and increase the number.
As for the other ones showing, thats the normal most used applications list which shows below any pinned items you have. It will show as many of those as you have space for. The list is maintained by Windows and Start8/10 worked exactly the same way. There is an option to disable this in the same place as the left hand shortcut count.
As with Start8/10, the registry stores most of the settings. The exception being pinned shortcuts for the Windows 7 menu.
I am not sure what your initial question was about, could you explain that more?
