I peaked in and none of the ratings were <5. I am not sur ehow it could have been a 2.

ratings don't bother me too bad, it's the downloads that count yeah, but if it's less than a 4 (I think) then the majority of users never see it TO download it, thats when it does bug the hell outta me.

For those that can see or rate, it depends on what they have their ratings filter set at. For those that are visitors, they can see 7 and above.

AP67....I know who rated them a 2......Now let me try remember their nick.......something like 'gold wing'.....no, or was it 'bronze flyer......no, it will come to me in a minute.....yes thats it - it was Silver Bird.....do you know this person? Have you done something wrong to upset this person for them to be so cruel and rate your fine work so poorly

There was one rating of 1. I deleted it.

I think a 2 was way too low.  I think that was Ap's point. That regardless of the issues involved, if 5 is "average" there is no way a reasonable person could say that that was a 2.

1st rating is given by the admin who accept the upload ... Am i wrong ??

Since my uploads bypasses moderation admins dont rate my work. They start out with a default '6' rating until someone else rates it. Then that 1st rating takes the place of the default rating.

BTW: I rated it 3. I don't like them and I'm not one of those envious and jealouse people with nothing better to do.

Learn to live with low ratings and improve your work.

I think the default rating works good since it's only temporary until a 'true' rating is assigned. Sadly some people will assign a rating based on personal issues rather than a true criteria of the work. And Im not talking about my work, but about a lot of the work in the site.
This post was mainly to create awareness about how ratings can be mishandled.
I'll be more prudent in the future.

I just said I didn't like the icon pack not all of your work, I like your wallpapers and I used your HalloweenHades wallpaper for my work computer. All the people in the office asked where did I get that wallpaper, and I sent them the link to your wincustomize library of wallpapers. . And my work is not like yours, I just take the files that people like you do and put them in a nice way(KkMenu), that's all. I mean: what I do is not a big deal. Make a Windowblinds skin is a big deal.
