30 % cpu usage on 4k video

Why is cpu usage so high on 4k videos- from 19% to 35 on my now potato 7 years old i5 pc. is this normal for 4k. When i watch 4k videos on YouTube or watch streaming 4k i use 2 times less cpu then descscapes. Is this because of bad coding. why descscapes uses so much CPU on 4k ?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version number. Use Winver.exe to get it.
DeskScapes version number.
Post a link on the 4K video you test on your system so we can test it on our end.

Same useless answers every time bad programming is exposed. Just wasting peoples time. All 4k videos on deskscapes use a lot of resources. And version and win 10 or 11 doesn't have nothing to do with that. And mostly you never fix any bugs and improve optimizations and you just put blame everything on others or misdirect. So no point posting here anymore and i don't need you to waste my time.

Sorry you feel that way, those question was asked so we can try to reproduce your issue on our system. Since you can not answer it. I pick up a random 4K Dream and test it on my system. And, I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Please refer to video below. Video codec load was only around 4-5% on my system.
