Thank you, Basj. I remember reading that there were some issues with the playlist function. Perhaps the videos restarting with multiple playlists is a bug. I have 3 displays connected to my computer. When I run a single video on 2 of them and a playlist on the third, the 2 single videos do not restart when the playlist advances to a different video. It continues playing as normal. However, if I run playlists on 2 (or all 3) of the displays, when one of the playlists changes videos, the currently playing video on each of the other playlists restarts. To reproduce this, use the following steps:
- Build a playlist of videos (Any amount of videos might work. In my case, I used a playlist with 6 videos and a playlist with 341 videos.)
- Build another playlist of videos.
- Apply each of those playlists to a display (You will need at least 2 displays for this to work.)
- Set each playlist to advance when videos end.
When one of the videos ends, the video that is currently playing in the other playlist should restart.
However, if you replace one (but not all) of the playlists with a single video (such as a video in one of the playlists), when a video in a playlist ends and the playlist advances, the single video should not restart and should continue playing from the point that it left off when the playlist advanced.
