Escape key to close start menu

I have a feature request for Start11 -- When I'm in the Start11 start menu, I'd like for the Escape key to close the start menu entirely.  Currently, it acts as a back button.  For example, if I'm in the all-apps menu, and I start searching, then it takes 3 presses of the Escape key to close the start menu.  In the native Windows 11 start menu, pressing the Escape key closes the menu no matter what tab I'm on.
