Hi,
I've just come across this, and I'm still testing.
My PC has not been able to go into sleep/hibernation mode for a long time. Now, after uninstalling Groupy, it has been able to go into hibernation mode. My power supple is around 12 yrs old, and I will be changing this in a few days, so I will be doing more testing on this, to see if it's my old PS. I will get back to you on this later, just wanting to say something about it for now.
Another thing I have notice is my folder view setting do not stick on some of my drives, when Groupy was installed. I have tried Groupy 1.5 and Groupy_1.50-j173. With Groupy 1.5 uninstalled the folder views go back to what I set them to, but not with Groupy_1.50-j173, had to install the 1.5 version, and then uninstall it to get my folder view back. Anyway, Still testing this, will see in a few days if my folder view setting stick, or if it's my windows install.
Running Windows 11 64bit up to date. Also have tried increased cache size (BagMRU Size) reg setting, and it did not seem to fix the folder view.
Cheers
Update
Well, I finally replaced my power supply and my PC can go into sleep or hibernation mode with Groupy 1.5 installed. So weird that Groupy has an problem with my old power supply, anyway I need to upgrade that.
Groupy does have a problem with not letting my folder view settings stay the way I want it. Maybe a fresh windows install will be needed, or I just wait for the next version, hopefully it will work well with Windows 11.
