I'm a longtime user of Fences, use it on 2 PC's and looking to get the v4 upgrade soon.

Just an idea I had as I'm a person who writes a lot of notes:

What if instead of double-clicking to hide icons, you could set the option to double-click on the screen background to create an instant text file?

Default filename could be something like this:

Text Note 21st May, 2022 1043AM.txt

You could then double-click on the file to open / edit it in notepad.

I know you can right-click to do the same, but when I write a note, I want to write it down right now! The right-click --> New --> Text Document in Windows 10 or 11 is much less elegant.

Perhaps with the passage of time Fences will have an entire widget system with Calendars / Tasks (a-la Rainlendar) and things like that. Fences really does have so much potential, and needs to be a standard in the corporate world.

I'm a bit disappointed about the multi-device license changes and not sure if Fences 4 really offers that much value. If it stops my items saved to Desktop going on the wrong screen it's worth it though
