Yeah, support newsgroups are generally full of problem reports. That's kinda what they're there for. Please name one product for me that no one, ever, has problems with.
I DO read the newsgroups and I didn't see anyone else reporting this problem with the update.
I do, however, see a thread from you about once a month or so saying SDC "doesn't work!!!!!!!". At that point I'd be thinking, A) it doesn't get along well with your machine, or

operator error anyone?
I'm sure they're doing the best they can at SD. >
