Can't Install Window Blinds

I have a subscription and installing Window Blinds through Object Desktop fails.  So I tried downloading a stand-alone version, and it fails as well.  It appears to hang on wbload2.dll as noted in the image below.

Current on all windows patches, Win 10, Intel I7.

Try disabling your antivirus/antimalware program (3rd party, not Windows Defender). Then try installing via the Object Desktop installer app.

its ur antivirus.. just disable it during the installation of windowblinds then add it to ur approved programs list in ur antivirus settings. just add the entire windowblinds folder.. and you should be good.

Tried that - killed my non-MS AV.  It's still stuck.  When I attempt the install from Object Desktop I get the following.  Hovering over the setup at the bottom yields the smaller screen - hung again.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Did the purge, rebooted, ended my non-MS AV. Downloaded the app install again, just to be sure. Rans the install under Admin and got at the same place again... Installing the mbload2.dll...

Its likely not enough to just disable it - try uninstalling, rebooting please.

If that fails, try installing under a new Windows Admin (<-important) account:

If it works to install under it, it should also be installed \ usable under your main account.
