Hi Stardock,
Ok, so I've supported Fences from v2 all the way through to v4 and in every single version, multi monitor support has practically been non-existent or at best as 'flaky as athletes foot'.
Why is it soo difficulty to keep fence zones in the place they were created on both monitors. I'm forever having to manually reset them as the snapshot which hardly works as expected as it doesn't actually restore Fences to their original state?
The issue I have is, regardless of what I put on the second monitor at some point (reboot's, turning off monitor's etc.) to all get's dumped on the first monitor and yet the first monitor remembers all of the correct position's of the fences when created on that monitor. For some reason the Fences on the second monitor isn't persistent. My first monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440 and the second has the resolution of 1920x1200.
Other software that detects multi monitor support doesn't suffer from this and yet it has plagued Fences since V1.
So, before anyone says, pipe clean the install etc. I have done all of that. It honestly shouldn't be this difficult.
At this point I'm actually wondering to why I even bother with it as for me it isn't in a useable state. Multi monitor support should be native and seamless or am I doing something incredibly wrong?
Regards,
Keith.
