I have a very annoying problem.Almost every time I have to log in to my PC, the icons are in the wrong place on the screen. After a restore they are fine again.The icons keep reverting to 1920 x 1080 screen resolution while I have a monitor with 2560 x 1440 resolution.Does anyone have an idea how to remedy this?

Just curious, I wonder why it change to 1920x1080, do you have use this resolution before? Do you have another display with that resolution? Perhaps secondary monitor?

I have only one monitor.Years ago this was a 'normal' hd monitor.
Had some issues myself but as i use both a 1080p Monitor and a 4K Big screen TV both connected to my Graphics card, i had the TV wrongly set as Default device and when i switched between the 2 all manner of strange things happened on my Monitor
